On Friday, October 7, the Meet the Supply Chain event took place at Fontys campus Venlo. This time the day was aimed at final-year students of MBO and HBO.
The event is a collaboration between the educational institutions offering courses in Venlo in the field of Logistics and Supply Chain Management (Gilde, Fontys and UM), network partner Meet The Youngsters and the regional business community (companies listed below and Customs Support).
The goal of this annual event is to connect students with the North Limburg region.
After all, the Venlo-Venray region has a strong partnership between logistics companies, governments and educational institutions.
The pupils and students were informed about the possible studies that can be followed here and they could meet the employers that are active in this region.
During the event, the participating pupils and students received networking training, an insight into the companies through Virtual Reality, through an HR manager of a logistics company and through serious gaming, including an escape room.
The busy afternoon concluded with a meet and greet with the companies present: Seacon Logistics, DSV Road and DSV Solutions, LogicLeap, Vida XL, Ewals Cargo Care, Hutchison Ports Venlo and KLG Europe.
