PIONEERS Project – Electric Green Last Mile

The PIONEERS project is making huge strides toward a more sustainable future with the introduction of the electric green last mile (eGLM).

What is it?

PIONEERS addresses the challenges faced by European ports to reduce their environmental impact while remaining competitive and offering added value in a sustainable global trade ecosystem. Source via https://pioneers-ports.eu/

Thanks to the collaboration between PIONEERS consortium partners FIER, Venlo, and Supply Chain Valley, the plan is to roll out 100% electric terminal tractors. These electric machines will help drastically reduce emissions, enhance air quality, and pave the way for a greener future in logistics.

This initiative not only supports the electrification of logistical operations but also strengthens the entire infrastructure for a cleaner, more sustainable world.
