Facial recognition access required

Since September 2024, a new form of biometrics has been introduced at our terminals for verification: FROC (Facial Recognition On Chip), or facial recognition.  The biometrics here, like the fingervein, are stored on the CargoCard. This makes access to the terminal contactless, even faster and more secure.

Starting Monday, July 21, 2025, truck drivers will be required to use facial recognition to access the barge terminal. Additionally, facial recognition is required to use Remote Check-In (RCI). With RCI, a truck driver can save about 5 minutes per visit.

Not done this yet?
You can add facial recognition to your CargoCard. Register for this at the staffed counter at the rail terminal on Celsiusweg 30, between 07:00 and 23:00. RCI is available at both the rail and barge terminals.
